Greg Lumley is the photographer who took my author photographs for this book. I interviewed him after the shoot, once I’d already seen the difference between a technically convincing image and a portrait made in the presence of another person.
When I’m shooting with somebody on a personal level, I’m getting the real person and the real soul, so to speak, comes out of them and it actually shows and shines in those pictures.
