Agentic AI

Agentic AI does not stop at answering. It uses tools, moves through steps and takes actions: retrieving records, updating systems, sending messages, making bookings, generally wandering round the workflow with permission to touch things. Useful, and also where “the computer made a mistake” acquires a much larger blast radius. A weak paragraph sits on your screen until somebody fixes it; an agent can email the client, change the database and book the wrong Tuesday before the kettle has boiled. So it needs fences: limited permissions, visible logs, stopping conditions, a human at the consequential steps and one named person who stays answerable. Delegation moves the action, never the responsibility, however briskly the machine clicks.
