Is it really free — what's the catch?
No catch. No account, no trial, no analytics, no upsell. A browser extension, a single web file, and an optional desktop build. Install it, keep it, share it.
What can the Chrome extension see?
Only its own sidebar. It requests a single permission — “sidePanel” — and nothing else: no access to your tabs, your browsing history, or the content of any page. It makes no network calls; your drafts stay in the browser.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens on your machine. Your drafts save to your own browser storage; the app sends nothing anywhere.
How accurate is the token & cost estimate?
The token count is a well-tuned estimate — typically within about 15% — because exact tokenisation isn't public. Prices are per-model and fully editable, and real charges count your whole conversation, not just the one draft.
Why does the desktop app warn me when I open it?
Because it isn't code-signed. macOS and Windows show a caution for any app from an unidentified developer. On Mac, right-click the app → Open; on Windows, click More info → Run anyway. Or just use the Chrome or web version — no warnings at all.
Which models does it cover?
Opus, Sonnet and Haiku out of the box, plus a Custom slot for anything else. Every price is editable and saved.
