Chapter 19. Commitment: Showing Up
Showing up after the interesting part is over.
The promises nobody would ever know you broke.
Interest gets the work started and usually leaves before the work is done. Commitment is the repeated surrender of the option to disappear, alongside the judgement to know when staying no longer deserves you.
